Ill juror halts Stimson trial delaying verdict
An ill juror forced the Lorain County Common Pleas Court to send the Howard Stimson aggravated vehicular homicide trial home for the weekend. Judge Corts will rule on a mistrial motion Monday at 9 30 a m as deliberations pause with 12 jurors and two alternates. Stimson testified he dozed at the wheel and hit a road crew on Route 2 killing Christian Kelleher, 20, and injuring others.
