Firefighters battle barn blaze in Vermilion Township
A pair of connected barns housing hay and straw were destroyed in a Sunday fire at Haber Road, with about 3 000 bales of hay and 38 rolls of straw lost. No livestock. Firefighters contained the flames by 4 p.m. and remained on scene until 9 30 p.m. Investigators seek cause. no injuries. Mutual aid from several departments.
