Sheffield Lake mayor to nominate third law director

Mayor Gary Mingee plans to nominate Elyria lawyer Thomas Smith for the Sheffield Lake law director post after Council denied his first two nominees. Mingee criticized Council over Zagrans, who he says is highly qualified and formerly represented Mingee in lawsuits, and who also serves as North Ridgeville law director.
