Rural water service starts for RLCWA customers
After over three years of planning and delays due to cold weather, Rural Lorain County Water Authority customers began receiving water this morning. Crews connected meters at Brentwood Lake Village, Grafton, and Eaton Estates, with service expanding to Carlisle, Russia, and Henrietta townships. The $135 million project will lay 350 miles of line across 360 square miles, serving more than 5,000 customers in initial stages including Wellington, Pittsfield, LaGrange, Penfield, Camden, Eaton, and Kipton areas, then expanding north of Route 18 and later south.
