Tragedy in Burnsville Leaves Three Dead In Shootout
In Burnsville Minnesota a 911 domestic call ended with police officer Paul Elmstrand and Matt Ruge, firefighter Adam Finseth, and suspect Shannon Gooden dead. Sgt. Adam Medlicott survived with non life threatening injuries as neighbors watched the investigation unfold. Authorities said Gooden was armed with multiple guns and ammo and that a four hour standoff preceded a SWAT entry. Governor Walz ordered flags at half staff as state leaders pledged to provide answers.
