Grass fires sweep southern Plains with evacuations ongoing
Oklahoma and surrounding states fought large grass fires amid high heat and strong winds. Oklahoma reported several large blazes burning tens of square miles, prompting evacuations in multiple counties as firefighters worked to control the spread.
