Campus SCCC campus closed after tunnel fire injures two
Elyria Lorain County Community College closed after a blaze in an underground utility hallway sent heavy smoke through multiple buildings. Two firefighters treated for smoke inhalation, one briefly hospitalized for carbon monoxide, no students hurt, damage estimated at at least $1 million as fiber optic lines may be destroyed.
