Ridgeville eyes big 2000-home plan from Forest City

North Ridgeville officials express alarm after learning Cleveland developer Forest City Enterprises seeks about 2000 homes here. The plan covers 500 acres north of Chestnut Ridge Road to Sugar Ridge Road, with 70 cluster homes, 70 single-family homes and 244 apartments on 65 acres in Elyria. Forest City also links to a 130-acre project with Carnegie Management in Westlake.
