NASA brass weren't told of cold booster
NASA officials admitted they were not informed of a 7 to 9 degree reading on the shuttle's right booster prior to liftoff. NASA official Jesse Moore said he would have asked more questions if the reading had been known. Lottery director Ronald Nabakowski notes the schedule was shifted from Super Bowl Sunday and 10 day lead was not adjusted. Tickets for Super Lotto ran alongside former Wednesday Ohio Lotto sales.
