Electric Heating Cable Suggested In Cold Frame
Amateur gardeners can enjoy a small greenhouse by adding electric heating cable and thermostat. Cables and thermostats cost less than manure and heat use is economical with proper insulation and early spring start. Benefits include even heat, longer growing periods, and no deer pit preparation. The frame is sunk, cable laid on the bottom, and tied to a thermostat for steady minimum temperatures.
