Elderly couple weds in funeral chapel in Modesto

Robert Smith and Mary Hartman aged 58 and 80 sought a simple wedding. After church rejection they found a minister at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel who officiated in a funeral office. The couple, both with health issues and modest means, married December 31 and celebrated Valentine's Day together.
