U S intercepts five Russian bombers over Greenland report

Elyria considers nine projects for 1 percent city tax

Elyria City Council approved a nine item capital program to be funded by the 1 percent income tax. The plan includes street resurfacing bridges widening routes and utility projects with three projects possible to start concurrently. Boy Rescued After Narrow Well Escape in Harbor City

Three year old Carlos Garnica was saved after falling into a 9 inch wide hole beneath a ladder near his Harbor City home. Rescuers dug a larger shaft then cut a sideways passage to reach him at the 9 foot depth. He was recovered after two hours and reported in good condition.
