Two women sue Lorain podiatrist Alan Weiner and All Lorain Foot Center in Lorain County Common Pleas Court alleging unnecessary foot surgeries last summer. Each suit seeks 650,000 in damages with 250,000 compensatory and 400,000 punitive.
Police found 29 year old Richard John Narrows missing since Feb 3 sitting in a friend's Lorain living room after a week long search. Narrows was arrested for obstructing official business. Investigators traced him to Atlanta where a woman said where he stayed. The couple hosting him face charges. He left work Jan 31 claiming illness and did not return.
Oberlin police report two Oberlin College students Daniel S. Brownwood 22 of 19 Spring St and Elizabeth A. Mahon 22 of 141 S. Professor were charged with theft after unhooking and attempting to carry off a United Nations flag from a display on College and Main. The flag was recovered with no damage and they were to be arraigned in Oberlin Municipal Court.

A 19 year old Sheffield Lake man Daniel Griffith of 817 Lafayette Blvd was listed in fair condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital with a head injury after a Case Road traffic accident in North Ridgeville late Thursday night. Police said he was northbound when his wheels went off the pavement entering a curve the vehicle swerved and went into a culvert. He was cited for failure to control and driving under suspension.
