Couple wins termination of parental rights for abandoned child
In Milwaukee County Judge Howard Brown terminated the parental rights of a 16 month old girl born October 4 1964 to her 19 year old mother and 20 year old father and transferred custody to the Lutheran Children's Friend Society. The parents had previously refused to take the child home from the hospital and had asked for termination last year but were advised against it. Betty Ann was kept from her grandparents who were unaware of her existence.
