Hobby Show entries urged as deadline nears in Elyria
Lorain County hobbyists race to file for the second Annual Hobby Show by the approaching Monday deadline. The Elyria Exchange Club expects a last minute rush and has secured extra space for future exhibitions. Exhibits include railroad models by William and Rennie Grafton and works by Oberlin College art students with various other entries such as model airplanes, sailing yachts, stamp collections, dolls, and handicrafts.

30 To Be Sentenced In Lot Sales Case Friday
In Cincinnati Ohio on February 15 thirty people who pleaded guilty to fraud in the Arlington Cemetery Lot sales case face sentencing Friday before Federal Judge Mac Swinford. Morton Gilbert, cemetery Lot promoter, is among those to be sentenced. Gilbert, previously convicted in the Hopewell Cemetery fraud case, was in hospital then serving a prison term until the Arlington trial began last November. Most defendants are salesmen or office staff of the Arlington organization.
