Voinovich urges sweeping spending cuts to avert deficit crisis
U S Senator Voinovich calls for across the board domestic and defense cuts if budget talks fail to meet deficit targets. Lorain County Commissioner George S. Koury Jr. warns the county will lose about 2 million in federal revenue sharing and 500,000 in transportation funds, with social services facing 1 to 1.5 million in cuts.
