Anniversary notices for two couples mark 50th and 57th years
Mr and Mrs James A Cather celebrate 50th wedding anniversary with a Jan 30 family dinner at Lorain Brown Derby. Married Feb 2 1933 in Erie PA they lived in Olmsted Falls before 1979. Mr Cather retired from Baldwin Wallace College. They have four children Dale Dean Donald and Duane. Mr and Mrs Chester Tharpe celebrate 57th anniversary with a Feb 2 1926 wedding in Paris Tennessee. He is retired from Elyria Foundry. Mrs Tharpe serves church roles and has one daughter Mary K Wally and six grandchildren plus five great grandchildren.
