Mrs Beatrice Hummrich 43 of Avon Belden road R D Grafton was killed and her husband Louis 48 and three sons aged 15 11 and 8 were injured when their car struck a parked tractor trailer on Route 10 east of LaPorte at 9 p m The truck owned by Walter A Redman of Elyria was parked off the highway The Hummrich family moved from Elyria to Grafton and she belonged to the First Baptist Church She is survived by three sisters and three brothers All injured were taken to Erie Memorial Hospital and Sudro Curtis funeral home is handling arrangements

The body of Edward Bradiey, 42, a teacher at North Star rural school in Sancywint, Idaho, was found by police in an old farmhouse along the road. Officers said he apparently froze to death while asleep during a walk of about six miles.
