Defense attorney cites death penalty as state sanctioned murder

Lorain County defense lawyer Jack Bradley called the death penalty state sanctioned murder during a hearing over expert reports in the capital murder case against Donna Brown. The judge barred prosecutors from discussing trial triats and a conflict over raw data with a defense expert risked delaying Brown’s July 2012 shooting deaths of cousins Dale and Justin Linder. Bradley, opposing the death penalty, pledged to fight it, while prosecutors argued for access to experts and Brown’s right to Fifth Amendment protection.
