Lorain YMCA Owners Seek Tenants for New Sports Complex
Lorain business owners John Walls Chad and Dave Walls have bought the 43000 square foot Lorain YMCA building at Oberlin Avenue and Tower Boulevard for 90000 from FH Partners. They aim to rent space to tenants for aerobics tae kwon do and youth programs and may run the complex themselves if tenant demand falters. Wal-Mart Purchases Lorain Land for New Store
Wal-Mart bought 20.7 acres at Lighthouse Village in Lorain for 5.78 million dollars about 279 thousand dollars per acre. The deal was finalized last Thursday with opening planned for late this year or early 2010. Liberty Development's Tom Kularis says more retailers may join the center alongside Home Depot Kohl's and an Applebee’s already present.
