Bay Village Schools Close For Two Weeks Due To Gas Cutoff

Bay Village will close for a minimum of two weeks starting Monday after Columbia Gas of Ohio cut off their natural gas supply. Keystone District in Lorain County shifts to a four day week through March 31 if supplies hold, with Monday closures. Gunman holds nursing home hostages in Cincinnati

In Avondale a man named Jesse L Coulter and his ex wife Rita Gibson stormed the Catherine Booth Nursing Home. Six of eight hostages escaped early today and police recovered a shotgun. Coulter remained armed with a knife and scissors and held two people as authorities negotiated.

Wealthy attorney killed in Houston hotel raid scene

Sanford Hilton Radisky 36, a millionaire attorney and finance executive, was shot dead in a Rice-Rittenhouse hotel suite during a police raid on an alleged porn film set. Officer W. J. Stewart said Radisky fired first, ran behind a bathroom door, and was shot after ignoring orders to drop the weapon. Two women present were arrested along with ten others connected to the activities.

Henry Ford to name successor this year at Ford Motor Co

Henry Ford I, chairman of Ford Motor Co, said he will name a successor this year, moving control of the No 2 auto firm outside his family for the first time in its century history. Ford, who will be 58 in September, has been chief executive for 32 years since taking control from his aging grandfather after World War II.
