Four WPA Men Die as Auto Hits Fast Train
Four relief workers from Minster were killed when their automobile collided with a Grand Trunk passenger train at a crossing near Maynard, Indiana. Wreckage Sighted in Canyon Believed Army Plane
In Riverside California an army ground party laboring through rain and cold nears a canyon in the San Bernardino mountains where wreckage of the army plane piloted by Lieut. John T Helm who vanished December 29 was sighted yesterday by George Rice and Dana Boller while aboard a TWA plane from Albuquerque. Major Earl Duncan confirmed the find after piloting over the site. One wing is folded over the fuselage and no signs of life were found. Helm was reportedly engaged to actress Toby Wing.
