After a week long search by family neighbors and church members the body of 45 year old Alex Lawson was found under about 10 inches of ice along Chance Creek near Vermilion Road and Route 113. Deputies said no foul play. Autopsy pending. Lawson had been missing since last Monday and his truck was found tipped over last Tuesday with lights off and no footprints escaping.
