A 20-year-old man, Sherman Duvall of 417 West Tenth Street, was arrested Friday in a police dragnet after threatening a woman near West Avenue and 11th Street who refused to enter his car. He was charged with aggravated menacing as investigators linked him to earlier abduction attempts near Hamilton School involving teen and preteen girls. The incident followed a citywide police chase after witnesses provided a car description and license plate. The suspect’s beige Plymouth did not match the earlier blue car description. Police continue to urge caution as the area has seen multiple attempts.
