Lorain high school students Bernard Herrin and Howard Walker, sons of local officials, were arrested after stealing an Oldsmobile from J. F. Burke and wrecking it near Cottesbrook bridge. Walker, injured, was arraigned on grand larceny and released on bond. Herrin was hospitalized and later to be arraigned. The vehicle, wrecked beyond repair, was recovered at Hall's hatchery.

Emma J Wilford, 76, died Friday night at her Seventh Street home, believed caused by a heart attack. She was mother to Ta of Grand Rapids, Mich., Wilford and Mrs Nellie of this city.
