Lawsuit filed over Power Up engineering payment to Elyria Schools
Kenneth Bible sues Elyria Schools in Common Pleas Court seeking 20400 for work done nearly three years ago on the Power Up for Technology program. He says no contract existed but he completed studies and reports on 16 of 17 school buildings and was told the job went to another contractor. He alleges he was not properly notified after the August 1998 meeting and that future subcontractor work had previously been compensated.

State to reimburse drivers double license reinstatement fees
A Lucas County judge ordered the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles to pay about 7 million dollars to roughly 20 000 people double charged for reinstating licenses after drunken driving convictions. Each claimant will receive about 250 dollars.
