A packed lineup runs from 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. with shows across channels. Grizzly Adams and Eight Is Enough lead the night, followed by Ruby and Oswald, Nova on extinction, Laugh In, Charlies Angels, Great Performances, and multiple films including Green Berets and Run Silent Run Deep.
The three hour telecast on CBS examines four days around the Kennedy assassination with Oswald and Ruby characters. Frederic Forrest and Michael Lerner deliver strong performances, using Warren Report based material and real Dallas footage to depict the era without new theories.
