Fire damages home on Gore Orphanage Road in Brighton Township
Lorain County fire crews from multiple departments battled a structure fire at 23400 Gore Orphanage Road Friday. The Wellington Fire Department led operations at a 50 percent engulfed single dwelling, with 19.25 acres owned by David and Tamara Smith valued at 293,540. By 10 p.m. the fire was under control and crews stayed as a precaution.
