Teens spend night outside to learn homelessness impact
In North Ridgeville, 28 teens spent a night in makeshift cardboard shelters outside First Congregational Church to feel the cold and loneliness of homelessness. They dressed warmly, shared one box, and later donated food clothes and 185 dollars to North Ridgeville Community Care.

Lowther, 20, of Elyria, charged with driving under suspension after 2:15 p.m. stop on January 26 at Paula Boulevard and Leslie Avenue. Bret S. Keener, 26, of North Ridgeville, charged with agee after a 2:19 p.m. stop on the same day at 5475 Mills Creek Lane. A separate speeding report notes a driver at 61 mph in a 65 mph zone on the Ohio Turnpike near Lorain Road.

Woman speeds through Cleveland. cruiser crashes into snow bank
Police pursued Barbara Yohey, 32, after she sped along Center Ridge Road at 2 44 a.m. January 24. She drove 66 in a 35 mph zone, ran a red light, and crashed into a snow bank. A pursuing cruiser slid into a snow pile, spun out, and also hit a snow bank. No injuries reported.
