Baby missing-turned-gift-wrapped hostage returned unharmed
In Metairie Louisiana a 17 month old girl kidnapped by a gunman who bound the family maid and hid the child in a gift wrapped box was returned to her parents unharmed. The kidnapper made no ransom demand and police said the FBI joined the case while the child's father described relief and disbelief.

Four elderly die in fire at New Jersey nursing home
