Burial Service for Brooke and Kyle Hoffman Draws Large Crowd
Dana Hoffman attended the service after being released from EMH Regional Medical Center. A nearly mile long funeral procession carried the children’s casket to Brookdale Cemetery where graveside rites were held inside due to frigid weather. The Bauer-Laubenthal-Wainwright Funeral Home reported limited space as mourners filled the chapel lounge and foyer. Jerry Rombach, Dana’s father and Chronicle-Telegram sports editor, called the turnout phenomenal and said many attendees related to the children’s ages, noting how the crowd showed the community’s impact during such a trying time.
