Runaway pupil found after chase in Cascade Park
Nancy Sheidler aged 15 from Elyria is in Elyria Memorial Hospital in fair condition after being found in the north end of Cascade Park before noon. She ran away from Maplewood School at 10:53 a.m. and was seen dashing through woods without hat or coat. A school representative pursued her, she bought doughnuts and candy at Cascade Grocery around 11:30, then fled toward town, reentering the park where she was found outside a restroom by an unidentified person who alerted Deputy Eugene Willer.
