Frederick G. Beals, identified by police as the man sought in New York for stealing a body, burning it and swindling a life insurer of 100000 dollars, was arrested in Miami. He is jailed awaiting extradition to Hancock, New York, where the crime occurred last September. Beals allegedly insured himself for 100000 then reburied James H. Davis’s body, set it afire, and drove it over a cliff. his wife then collected the payout.
