Force plan aims to reverse defense woes for Cleveland
Cleveland Force coach Timo Liekoski emphasizes tightening defense after a 12-12 first half in the MISL. The team yielded 117 goals in 24 games, averages 4.8 per game, while ranking sixth in scoring but 10th in goals allowed. The Force sit third in the MISL East and face Los Angeles at the Coliseum, amid injuries to Kai Haaskivi and Krys Sobieski. Liekoski, back from a staph infection, aims to match or exceed last season’s second-half gains.
