Four arrested on Lorain welfare indictments
Four area residents were arrested Thursday by Lorain County Sheriffs deputies on secret indictments tied to welfare fraud. Gracyele Thomas and Rosa Mae Ball face falsification and fraudulently obtaining aid, joined by Leonard Gerald and Rev A Brumme in related charges. Brumme, pastor of St John Lutheran, will undergo back surgery next week at Elyria Memorial Hospital and likely resume duties in March.
