County Auditor C S S Kelser explained that all sales tax vendor licenses remain valid unless a business changes location. The old license expires with the sales tax law on March 80, 1937. State and political subdivisions are exempt from sales tax purchases, and blanket exemption certificates must be recorded for each vendor. Once issued, subdivisions may make further purchases from that vendor without new certificates.
