Ex-Wadsworth resident jailed in N C killing and teen abduction
Gary Love, 47, a former Wadsworth resident, is in custody in Iredell County North Carolina on charges including murder kidnapping a sexual servoitude of a child taking indecent liberties with a child and 10 counts of statutory sex offense. The case began with a welfare check after a 14 year old texted for help from a residence.

Health district upgrade by Elyria joining Lorain County
Lorain County will dissolve the Elyria Health Department and absorb its functions into the Lorain County General Health District effective Monday. Commissioner Dave Covell said the move creates a single countywide department handling inspections licensing immunizations disease control records and other public health duties. Five Elyria staff moved to the county. two administrators declined.
