Amherst teen charged in counterfeit $20 case at Sunoco
A 19 year old man identified as Kyle Karhusz is charged with criminal simulation and other counts after attempting to pass a fake $20 at a Sunoco on North Leavitt Road. Police say the note was a printed copy on paper. Investigators tied the case to other counterfeit incidents at Amherst businesses.

Couple indicted on arson charges in Lorain County case
A Columbia Station couple Roger and Susan Trujillo both 41 were indicted on arson and insurance fraud charges for a 2007 fire at their Sprague Road home. Prosecutor Dave Mahek said the blaze began during foreclosure proceedings and was ruled arson by the state fire marshal. The couple and their four children were not home at the time.
