Dr N E Meindoo of Washington told the American Association for the Advancement of Science convention that the cotton boll weevil costs the world more today than any other pest and continues to spread despite efforts. The State Examining Board refused to revoke the life certificate of Professor O. B. Chiften, superintendent of Coskerdom servers, after an extended hearing on charges of false certification of high school graduation. The board announced no change in leadership and noted ongoing review of duties.
