Suspect Arrested After Acid Attack Standoff
A five hour standoff at Colonial Oaks Mobile Home Park ended with David Soucek of 218 New York Ave in custody. The neighbor accused Soucek of bicycle theft and was sprayed with acid, suffering facial burns and discoloration. He was treated at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center and later flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Police have not released the victim's name.
