Delta Kappa Gamma Beta Chapter members met at JoAnn Fabric in Elyria to craft fairy elves and assemble Christmas goodie bags for Wesleyan Village residents lacking family contact. Bags include toiletries and word puzzles as the chapter marks "85 years and Beyond" in advancing educators.
Wesleyan Village in Elyria teamed with Always Best Care of Greater Cleveland and Hospice of Western Reserve to raise 4400 for The Valor Home Lorain County, a program aiding homeless veterans. Dining services worker Daisha Dean won a stuffed Escalade ride-on toy funded by staff effort.

A foundation donated 6500 to the Neighborhood Alliance in its quarterly cycle to buy refrigerators for the shelter and emergency services program.
