LaGrange teen hurt in Indian Hollow crash
A 17 year old LaGrange girl remained in critical condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a two car collision at Indian Hollow and Parsons roads Thursday night. Kathy Stillwell, a passenger, suffered head injuries while Shawn M. Smith and David A. Larkins were driving separate vehicles and were treated and released. The crash occurred when Smith failed to stop at a sign at Parsons Road, veering across the lawn into a house corner. The incident remains under investigation.

Vehicle hit boy. driver fled Sheffield Lake scene
Sheffield Lake police report a serious injury as 16 year old Eric Leffler was struck by a car while biking on Sheffield Road. The vehicle, a blue or gray 1976 or 1978 Chevrolet Chevelle station wagon, fled the scene. Police seek information at 949 7131. A separate note cites Sara Jase Moore later sentenced to life in prison in 1976 for attempting to assassinate President Gerald Ford.
