Cleveland teachers voted 3,592 against and 934 for a contract offer, an 86 percent turnout of the Cleveland Teachers Union amid a 71 day strike. Judge Frederick Coleman ordered the ballot and could set further actions as schools remain closed.

Skeletons of two infants found in Lake Avenue home

The Chronicle-Telegram reports two infant skeletons discovered in a Lake Avenue residence, suggesting a long‑hidden family matter.
