Paramed youth linked to two robberies in Strongsville case
A 17 year old Parma youth allegedly robbed Lawson store on Pearl Road at 1 15 am using a stick hidden under his coat to threaten a clerk. He fled, was arrested near Handle Road and Metropark Drive and later released to his mother. In a separate incident at a Shell station on Royalton Road two Cleveland men held up an attendant, pistol whipped staff, and escaped. Police pursued and rounded up the trio near West 150th Street exit. about 260 dollars was recovered. The youth faces robbery charges in juvenile court plus aggravated robbery counts for the others.

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals found 60 percent of 2,750 hospitals surveyed in the past year received only limited accreditation for fire safety and medical records.
