Elyrian in Viet Pentagon Finds Home in Service
Major Luther L Schwinn, 40, an Elyria native, serves as budget adviser in Saigon to the Vietnamese Director General for Financing and Auditing. He has 22 years in the Army, entered in 1946, and plans 28 more before retirement, hoping to settle back near Elyria. He mentions his nephew John E Watford, a helicopter crew chief near Saigon, and recalls Elyria childhood days.
