Andren Brothers Auto Wrecking Faces Final Sale of Hollywood Lot
Los Angeles junkyard Andren Brothers Auto Wrecking in the San Fernando Valley, a 53 year old Hollywood prop hub, will close by New Year’s Eve after selling off thousands of cars and iconic items. The yard stock includes the 1975 Jaws shark mold and the Usher boombox from the My Way video, with owners citing dwindling scrap prices and rising costs. The site has hosted over 200 film shoots since 1967, from In Cold Blood to Supergirl, but now the property will be cleared for new development as founder Nathan Adlen plans a future.
