Area deaths claim three local residents in Elyria region
Dr Hector P Siat 61 of Grafton died Sunday at Elyria Memorial after a month long illness. A Manila native, he practiced family medicine in Elyria 23 years with an Eastgate office since 1963. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Elyria Elks. Also deceased is William Alan Roth 57 of Elyria a 1947 Elyria High School graduate and Army veteran. He leaves a wife Dolora and children, with services planned at St John Lutheran Church and burial at Ridge Hill Memorial Park. James P Diosy 73 of Litchfield died Sunday at Elyria Memorial after a year long illness. A former Republic Steel operator, he served in WWII and is survived by wife Rose, three sons, a daughter, five grandchildren, and siblings. visitation noted at Blackburn Fulton Funeral Home with a prayer service and burial planned at St Marys Cemetery in Grafton.

Death of Avon Lake farmer Arthur F. Klingshirn at 86
Arthur F. Klingshirn 86 of Avon Lake died Sunday morning at St Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong farmer and former Avon Lake school bus driver, he was active in the Ohio Grape Growers Association and Ohio Public School Employees Association. He was a longtime parishioner of St Marys Church and a Knights of Columbus member. Survived by wife B Helen, eight children, 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Wake today 2 9 with a funeral mass Tuesday at St Marys Avon. Knights of Columbus will conduct services tonight.

Dominic A. Stanziano of Lorain dies Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He founded Central Concrete and Material Company in 1948 with his wife Lois Jean, retired in 1972, and was active in St. Joseph's Church and Italian Mutual Benefit Society. Funeral services set for Wednesday 9:30 a.m. at John R. Devin Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph's Church. He previously worked as a security guard and served in World War II as an auxiliary military policeman. He was a longtime Lorain civic and fraternal participant.
