Winter weather snarls Lorain County roads with ice and wrecks
Northern Ohio welcomed winter with sleet snow and freezing rain causing treacherous driving. Lorain County saw about 3½ inches of snow and drizzle with icy conditions expected. no serious injuries were reported though hundreds of fender benders occurred in Lorain and Cuyahoga counties. The Elyria patrol logged several non injury crashes on Route 83 and Route 2 others.
