Port authority to issue bonds for seven million

Lorain Port Authority voted unanimously at a special meeting to issue seven million dollars in industrial development mortgage revenue bonds. Each bond is five thousand dollars, with semiannual interest starting at 4.5 percent in 1969, rising yearly to 5.5 percent in 1977 and 6.125 percent later. A second resolution authorized purchase of American Ship Building Co.’s Lorain facility and lease back. McDonald & Co. will market the bonds. The Cleveland Trust Co. acts as trustee.
