Angry dealer blocks bids for police car in Spencer
In Spencer an angry local auto dealer prompted a bid withdrawal and readvertisement. The council, after hours of debate, chose a higher priced car that did not meet specifications. The fourth bid, $100 lower, from Kenneth Fuhrman, was questioned and led to promises of a possible reauction next month. An investigation was planned, and dealers expect lower bids in the next round.
